Will Luera is the Director of Improvisation at Florida Studio Theatre, Director of Big Bang Improv and serves as the Artistic Director Emeritus of ImprovBoston, Artistic Director of the Pilsen Improv Festival, Artistic Associate of the Chicago Improv Festival, Artistic Advisor to the Women in Comedy Festival and Part-time Faculty at Boston College. Will tours globally as an improv and theater actor, director and instructor that performs and teaches regularly all across North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Corey O'Rourke

Corey O’Rourke is a graduate of Suffolk University with a degree in Theater Studies, and English. He began doing Improv in 2006 and since then has worked with many companies and performers. Corey has taken classes and been through the training centers of multiple theaters. He has performed and worked with Improv Asylum, Catalyst Comedy, Urban Improv, and ImprovBoston. Corey was on the original cast of Boston’s Unscripted Musical Project, he spent years performing anywhere he could. Corey found a home at ImprovBoston in the fall of 2013, Joining the ImprovBoston National Touring Company, and was an original cast member of All Access Improv. In that time, Corey has worked hard to grow the brand and to expand the work that the company does. He works often with the community’s youth, in schools and after school, through youth troupes and anti-bullying initiatives. Corey is so proud of all of the work that ImprovBoston does, and couldn’t be any more excited to start a new Journey with All Access.

Sara Burns is a cast member of ImprovBoston's Mainstage and National Touring Company, director of Saturday night's Face Off, and teaches several courses in our Comedy School. She is an alumni of ImprovBoston's Face Off, Harold Night, and Studio 40, and adds many sketch shows, studio runs and national festivals to her credits. Sara is a current cast member of national free-form group Big Bang Improv and IB's Musical Improv Cast, and is a professional stage and screen actor in the Boston area. Her offstage passions include plant life, poetry, and puns.

Mike Morrell

Mike has been performing improv and stand up for the last 10 yrs. He's trained and worked in Boston (I.B/I.A), NYC (The PIT) and L.A. (IOWEST) He's created, directed and starred in shows, his favorite being Crime Solving Bear, which was hailed as, "borderline genius" He's run auditioning workshops with local casting directors. He's very good at finding what doesn't work in a scene and brainstorming options to solve that problem. If you have a problem and no one else can help...maybe you can hire...Mike Morrell.

Taylor Cotter is a member of Face Off, Harold Night's Saint Brad, and indie dream team, Cuddle Party. She is formerly of Harold teams GROVE, Skateboard Graveyard and Nixon. Ben Scurria has been part of the ImprovBoston community for five years. He is cast member of ImprovBoston's Mainstage, National Touring Company and the Harold team, Rabbit. Originally from California, Conor Allen began taking classes at ImprovBoston in 2009. He has performed previously at Harold Night with The Buskers and BANKWOLF and currently plays with Specter. Conor can also be seen performing as a member of the ImprovBoston Mainstage and with his indie team Aeropuerto. Conor has been known to play the drums and have conversations with stuffed animals.

David Marino

David Marino has been performing, writing, directing and coaching improv and scripted theater in the Boston area for over 20 years. In addition to performing with ImprovBoston MainStage for almost a decade, he produced several innovative shows exclusively for the theater including Archipelago, UnNatural Selection, Continuum, Center Mike, Code Duello, the attendance record-breaking Groaners and Boners, Red Alert!, and the award-winning Agent Spy, which was showcased at the 2004 Chicago Improv Festival. He has written and directed a number of plays and musicals throughout the region including the Boston One-Minute Play Festival, Shtick it to Vaudeville, and the critically acclaimed Pirate Lives: The Musical! Specializing in theater-based interpersonal communications David has been coaching industry leaders for over 25 years. Using creative and dynamic presentation techniques from scripted and improvisational theater, he engages with individuals, non-profit and for-profit companies to create inspiring and interactive leadership practices that demonstrate powerful and effective communication strategies. David is the founding director of Groaners for Donors, a performance-based fundraising production company “dedicated to raising money for your nonprofit organization by providing a unique comedy experience. We make the funny, you make the money!”

Gregory Scott

Greg originally hails from Dallas, Texas where he trained and taught at the Dallas Comedy House. He joined the ImprovBoston community two years ago when he was offered the opportunity to perform as part of the theatre's Harold Night cast. Since that time Greg has taken on several projects including Magic: The Gathering: The Show, performering with partner Ari Stern in Two Gentlemen, joining as a traveling member of Will Luera's Big Bang, and producing One Man Army which regularly features his solo-improv act The Greg Show. He recently joined The ImprovBoston National Touring Company and can be found regularly performing, teaching, and directing across the city. Outside of improv, Greg is a marketing professional and a major geek.

Elyse has been performing, teaching, and directing at ImprovBoston since 1999. Her favorite projects include: Radio Hour, John Hughes High, UnNatural Selection, and Misunderstood: Improvised Rock Opera. Elyse studied under such masters as Joe Bill, Susan Messing, Todd Stashwick, and Mick Napier. Elyse was a member of the Mainstage cast from 1999-2011 and currently co-produces the Women in Comedy Festival.

Dan has been a member of the ImprovBoston community since 2008 and can currently be seen as a part of Face Off on Saturday nights. Along with Lauren Robinson, he is involved with a improvised musical tribute to 500 Days of Summer and The Last Five Years called 5 Years of Summer that watches 2 fictitious characters fall in and out of love. Danny Balel has been teaching and performing for over ten years. He teaches Theater at Clark University, where he oversees a Theater Education program in the Main South neighborhood of Worcester. In addition, Danny teaches at Improv Boston, everything from weekly classes, workshops, to birthday parties. Currently he is a member of Improv Boston's Touring Company and All Access, the fast flying show for all ages. Danny is a previous member of Comedy Sportz Boston and Magic the Gathering: the Improvised Show. He produces Cagematch, a weekly competitive show at Improv Boston. He lives in Davis Square, Somerville, and enjoys candied yams and big dogs. Danny was also interviewed by Jimmy Carrane for the Improv Nerd podcast (http://jimmycarrane.com/podcasts/122-danny-balel/).

Lauren Chapman

Lauren has been with ImprovBoston since June of 2013 and is happy to be part of the Top Shelf team Bigfoot at Harold Night as well as the MIC: Musical Improv Cast. IB productions include: T: An MBTA Musical, Family Show, All Access Improv, Murder Night: Don't Fear the Repurge, WIPR: Improvised Public Radio, Gorefest the 13th, Spice Girls World Tour, The Gruesome Tale of Penny Dreadful, IB Stine's Goosebumps, Baby Sitter's Club Super Special Improv Show, the Typing Pool, among many others. Lauren is a producer of Studio 40 and indie coach. Outside IB, Lauren is an actress for both screen and stage and very occasionally, portrays Disney Princesses for children's birthday parties. Erik Volkert is an instructor at ImprovBoston, and has been performing at ImprovBoston since 2001. He is an alumni of the Micetro, Theatersports, and The Buskers casts, and has appeared in many shows, most recently Magic: The Gathering: The Show, and The Jam every Sunday.
