This class is all about getting reps and feedback. Open to graduates of Improv 301 and above, we’ll spend the session digging deeper into the IB scenework tools. Deana Criess

Teaching Style: I am your biggest cheerleader, your biggest fan and your most supportive critic. You learn and get better when I am doing my job, and my job is to tell you what you need to work on. I will set you up for success, I will give you the tools to achieve what I am asking of you, and I will assume you can do this - because if we have the right approach you can. We will work, you will be pushed and all the while you will know that I am on your side. There will be sweat, there will be challenges, and there will always be joy.

Bio: Deana Criess is the Director of ImprovBoston’s National Touring Company and is a member of ImprovBoston's Mainstage and Musical Improv Casts. A veteran instructor in ImprovBoston’s Comedy School, she has over 15 years of professional experience with audiences of all ages performing and teaching longform and shortform improvisation as well as sketch writing and stand up comedy. During her years in comedy she has worked with some amazing artists including Dan Castellaneta (The Simpsons), Laura Hall (Whose Line Is It Anyway), Eric Drysdale (Full Frontal), Josh Gondelman (Last Week Tonight), Anthony Atamanuik (The President Show), Jen Kirkman (Drunk History), Janeane Garofalo, Kevin McDonald (Kids In The Hall), Dave Razowsky (Second City) and many more.
