Christine Cuddy is thrilled to be teaching at ImprovBoston! She started as an improv student at ImprovBoston back in 2003 and has loved improv ever since. Cuddy has trained in Chicago at the Second City and Annoyance theaters. She can be seen performing on Friday and Saturday nights as a cast member of the ImprovBoston Mainstage.

Mike Morrell

Mike has been performing improv and stand up for the last 8 yrs. He's trained and worked in Boston (I.B/I.A), NYC (The PIT) and L.A. (IOWEST) He's created, directed and starred in shows, his favorite being Crime Solving Bear, which was hailed as, "borderline genius" He's run auditioning workshops with local casting directors. He's very good at finding what doesn't work in a scene and brainstorming options to solve that problem. If you have a problem and no one else can help...maybe you can hire...Mike Morrell.

Deana Tolliver

Deana Criess Tolliver has taught Improvisation, Sketch Writing and Stand Up to budding comedians of all ages. She is a veteran instructor at ImprovBoston and has taught comedy and drama classes at numerous schools, colleges, festivals and camp programs including the nationally acclaimed Charles River Creative Arts Program. Deana is an instructor with the ImprovBoston Comedy Camps and a facilitator for ImprovBoston Communications, IB's corporate/executive training arm. Deana is the creator and lead facilitator for ImprovBoston's Anti-Bullying Program. She is also the former Director of Education at ImprovBoston and continues to enjoy sharing the art of comedy with anyone who will listen.

Mike Descoteaux

Mike Descoteaux is the Artistic Director of ImprovBoston and director of IB TourCo. With The Second City in Chicago, he founded their Music Program, taught in the Training Center, and was music director of the ETC stage. Mike teaches workshops in songwriting, musical improv and music direction at festivals and for clients around the world. He is the founder of the critically acclaimed satire Best Church of God and former director of the celebrated Charles River Creative Arts Program.

Elyse Schuerman

Elyse has been performing, teaching, and directing at ImprovBoston since 1999. Her favorite projects include: Radio Hour, John Hughes High, UnNatural Selection, and Misunderstood: Improvised Rock Opera. Elyse studied under such masters as Joe Bill, Susan Messing, Todd Stashwick, and Mick Napier. Elyse was a member of the Mainstage cast from 1999-2011 and currently co-produces the Women in Comedy Festival.

Will Luera joined ImprovBoston in 1997 as a member of the Mainstage cast and in 2000 became the Artistic Director and director of the Mainstage cast. Will has taught classes around Boston, the US, Latin America and Asia. He has studied improvisation with ImprovOlympic, Second City, The Annoyance, The UCB, and Keith Johnstone. Will continues to direct at ImprovBoston, but also directs scripted theater around Boston.

Bryce Read

Bryce currently performs in the Mainstage and Touring Company casts at ImprovBoston. He also became director of the Family Show for a year, after having performed in the cast for nearly three years. He holds a BA in Theatre Performance from Salem State College, and has completed all levels of the Improv Asylum training center.

Lori Strauss is an enthusiastic ImprovBoston instructor and has been a cast member since 2010. She performs in Harold Night with Birthday Milk and has been a guest performer with Mainstage. Lori appeared in showcase shows 1.21 Jigowatts: A Tribute to Back to the Future, My Dark Love: A Twilight Parody, and Camp. David Marino

David Marino has been writing, directing, teaching, and performing with ImprovBoston since 1997. Some of his directing credits include Agent Spy, Groaners & Boners, Archipelago, Center Mike, Lube! The Musical!, and the critically acclaimed Pirate Lives: The Musical! His improv focus is on strong cast connections, grounded characters, and environment work. Jeff Perry is the producer of ImprovBoston's Harold Night as well as a cast member of Specter and the director of Rich Uncle. He has been performing at ImprovBoston since 2007, where he is an instructor and the Comedy School administrator. She takes a theme-based approach to the form and pushes students to explore - and stick with - the realities they create. Her teaching style is linear, transparent, and includes a variety of hastily-drawn yet highly-informative visual aids. The passion she feels for teaching and for the Harold itself is evident from day one. Also, she swears. A lot.
