Rob Crean is a comedian and comedy promoter in Boston. He's hosted shows for people like Marc Maron, Todd Barry, Tig Notaro and Hannibla Buress. His group Anderson Comedy released a full length DVD called "Art Film" and produce comedy shows in the Boston area.

Allen McRae

Allen McRae joined the ImprovBoston community in 2007 when he became a member of IB's first ever house sketch team The Latchkey Kids. He attended Ithaca College where he received a B.A. in Drama and then studied and performed sketch at the UCB theatre in New York City. Allen has been writing and performing sketch comedy for over 10 years, most recently as head writer of Duct Tape Revolution, World Of Hurt, master overlord of the Allen McRae Show, the producer of The Best Of Boston Sketch show and is currently as director of this summers ImprovBoston produced mainstage sketch review Comedy, America! Allen's favorite sketch is Kids In The Hall's "Girl Drink Alcoholic."

Nils Vaule

Nils performs at Harold Night with BANKWOLF and teaches classes at ImprovBoston, and was formerly a member of FaceOff and Family Show. He began improvising with Bay Area Theatresports and continued to train with The Groundlings and the Upright Citizens Brigade. He teaches improv to actors and performers, as well as students interested in applying the tools of improv to areas outside of theatre, including business, design, and conflict resolution. He previously used improvisation skills every day in his work as a middle and high school English teacher in Boston.

Mike Morrell

Mike has been performing improv and stand up for the last 8 yrs. He's trained and worked in Boston (I.B/I.A), NYC (The PIT) and L.A. (IOWEST) He's created, directed and starred in shows, his favorite being Crime Solving Bear, which was hailed as, "borderline genius" He's run auditioning workshops with local casting directors. He's very good at finding what doesn't work in a scene and brainstorming options to solve that problem. If you have a problem and no one else can help...maybe you can hire...Mike Morrell.

Lori Strauss is an enthusiastic improv instructor and has been a cast member at ImprovBoston since 2010. She is a performer and director with Harold Night and has been a guest performer with Mainstage. Lori has appeared in shows such as 1.21 Jigowatts: A Tribute to Back to the Future, My Dark Love: A Twilight Parody, Space!, and Camp. In Boston, Lori shares her love of storytelling by hosting The Moth StorySLAMs. She was trained at ImprovBoston and is excited to share her passion for comedy and saying yes with her students.

David Marino has been writing, directing, teaching, and performing with ImprovBoston since 1997. Some of his directing credits include Agent Spy, Groaners & Boners, Archipelago, Center Mike, Lube! The Musical!, and the critically acclaimed Pirate Lives: The Musical! His improv focus is on strong cast connections, grounded characters, and environment work. David is currently a Project Manager for a Cambridge-based genome research laboratory.

Ari is a cast member of ImprovBoston's Mainstage. Before that he spent 2 and a half years on Face Off. His diverse experience spans from short form games, to hour long mono scenes, to 10 week long continuous improvised story lines. He's done 1 man shows as well as shows with 19 cast members. He loves puppies and trees and hopes you'll join him in getting silly.

David Marino has been writing, directing, teaching, and performing with ImprovBoston since 1997. Some of his directing credits include Agent Spy, Groaners & Boners, Archipelago, Center Mike, Lube! The Musical!, and the critically acclaimed Pirate Lives: The Musical! His improv focus is on strong cast connections, grounded characters, and environment work. David is currently a Project Manager for a Cambridge-based genome research laboratory.

Christine Toohey

Christine Toohey is currently a cast member of ImprovBoston's Face Off, an instructor with the ImprovBoston Comedy School, and the producer for GoreFest 2014. Previous improv casts include Boston’s Unscripted Musical Project (B.U.M.P.), the ImprovBoston Family Show, The Typing Pool, Improvised Hitchcock, and Motives & Alibis. Improv directing credits include the ImprovBoston Family Show, the Princess Hour, and the Baby-Sitters Club Super Special Improv Show. Stage credits include roles with Argos Productions, Flat Earth Theatre, Independent Drama Society, and the Longwood Players. In Boston theatre, she has worked in management for New Repertory Theatre, and in marketing for the Independent Drama Society, Huntington Theatre Company, SpeakEasy Stage Company, and Commonwealth Shakespeare Company.

Dave Sawyer

Dave Sawyer is an instructor with the IB Comedy School and an alumni of the ImprovBoston Mainstage cast. Dave has been teaching at at ImprovBoston since 2006 and was formerly the program coordinator for the popular YAP (Yes And Practice) workshops at IB. He has taught workshops at numerous festivals including the Toronto Improv Festival, the Santa Cruz Improv Festival, Slapdash Festival (London, UK), and La Semaine De L’Impro (France). Dave has directed numerous shows at ImprovBoston including Ginsburg, a former team at IB's Harold Night, and Neutrino, an improvised video format. His two-man sketch comedy show - Sawyer and Hurley – has been featured at Philly Sketchfest, Montreal Sketchfest, and the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival.

Danny Balel

Danny Balel has been teaching and performing for over ten years. Currently he is a member of Improv Boston's Touring Company, the Top Shelf Harold group Viceroy, Magic the Gathering: the Improvised Show, and the independent groups First Impact and The James Lindsay Quartet. He produces Studio 40 and Cagematch, both weekly shows at Improv Boston. Danny teaches Theater at Clark University, where he also directs. He lives in Davis Square and enjoys candied yams and big dogs.

MB teaches Improv 101 in our Comedy School, she has formerly served as Assistant to the Managing Director, producer of the Comedy Lab and as a cast member of the ImprovBoston Family Show and Touring Company. MB also performs with "Work Lunch" and "We Fancy" locally and at festivals. She has been improvising for 30 years and doing so onstage for 8 of those years. MB wants you to come play!
