June Theater Meeting Notes

Last night we hosted our monthly theater-wide meeting, in which we update the community on IB happenings -- if you weren't able to make it, click on "See all news" for the full scoop.

Cast updates
Join us August 7th for the final mainstage performances of long-time ImprovBoston veterans Rachel Rosenthal, Taylor Newhall and Don Shuerman.  We wish them luck and hope they visit to play with us again soon!  Joining the Mainstage cast are the amazing Ryan Petti, Erin McGhee, and Shannon Connolly!  Ryan and Erin have performed together as part of the award-winning troupe Bastards Incorporated, and Shannon has rocked our stage as part of Friday Night Face Off and Maxitor.

Schedule changes
Mark your calendars: As of August 26 the Thursday 8pm timeslot will host our hugely popular Harold Night!  SketchHaus will take the Friday 9pm timeslot beginning August 27th -- be sure to catch both programs in their new homes.  Bastards, Inc.'s final show will be August 19th, so come out for some laughter, awkward hugs, and abandonment issues.

Show announcements
This year's Showcase Show lineup is badass as always!  We're kicking off this season with a John Hughes-inspired High School Comedy directed by Elyse Shuerman, running Fridays in September & October. 

Don Schuerman returns to direct Gorefest VIII: Cirque du Slaughte, playing the last two weeks of October.  Audition announcements will go out on Twitter, facebook, and our mailing list soon.

Congratulations to the Dowry!  Our fantastic Dowry writers & sketch team will be scripting and producing this year's Holiday Spectacular, so it's sure to make us all wildly uncomfortable.
