GoreFest VIII Auditions

ImprovBoston is excited to announce auditions for its the eighth (!!!) annual Halloween musical comedy horror show: GoreFest VIII: Cirque du Slaughte. This year's show is takes place during the final days of the great American Circuses: A hopeful magician watches as the circus collapses around him in a series of bloody accidents. The show was co-written by GoreFest veteran Misch Whitaker and Adam Brooks, with music by Steve Gilbane. Don Schuerman, who wrote and directed GoreFest's 1-5, will be directing.GoreFest is a BLOODY and GRUESOME show, so all performers should plan accordingly. GoreFest is a great and exciting experience, unfortunately it is not a paying gig.

When: Saturday, July 10 from 2:30 until 6 PM and Monday, July 12 from 7-10 PM (Callbacks will be held Thursday, July 14 from 7-10 PM.)

Please bring a headshot and theatrical resume (if you have it). You will be asked to learn and sing a quick song, and to do some cold readings from scenes in the script. This year's show will feature circus "acts," so if you have any tumbling, contortionist, juggling or other "circus" skills please come prepared to demonstrate.
