Dave Sawyer

Dave Sawyer is an instructor with the IB Comedy School and an alumni of the ImprovBoston Mainstage cast. Dave has been teaching at at ImprovBoston since 2006 and was formerly the program coordinator for the popular YAP (Yes And Practice) workshops at IB. He has taught workshops at numerous festivals including the Toronto Improv Festival, the Santa Cruz Improv Festival, Slapdash Festival (London, UK), and La Semaine De L’Impro (France). Dave has directed numerous shows at ImprovBoston including Ginsburg, a former team at IB's Harold Night, and Neutrino, an improvised video format. His two-man sketch comedy show - Sawyer and Hurley – has been featured at Philly Sketchfest, Montreal Sketchfest, and the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival.
