Scott Kremer

Teaching Style: Using the format of a writer’s room, my teaching style is designed to help students understand both the art and craft of comedy, and to provide them with tangible tools and skills for sketch writing. From developing and pitching comedic premises to casting student written sketches for live table reads, the classes are designed to be engaging and fun. Class time is divided into instruction on basic comedy concepts, viewing video examples of the concepts being discussed, in-class writing exercises, and table readings and critiques of weekly writing assignments.

Bio: Scott is the writer/director of the sketch comedy group, Klondike 237, which was featured in the Best of Boston Comedy Shows in 2015 and 2016. Scott is a sketch writer for Old School Game Show. He was a sketch writer for the ImprovBoston Holiday Shows in 2014 and 2015. Scott is also a playwright, having written over 20 short plays that have been produced locally and in NYC.
