I believe that all improv is boiled down to moments between people on stage. In that moment, improvisers have to do three things: Listen. React. Respond. As a teacher, my goal is to create an environment where all kinds of students can thrive. Not everyone responds to the same teaching style, and because improv is such a personal art form, I strive to give each student the attention they need to grow and develop. I will never tell you that you are wrong, but will work to open your eyes and mind to the many other roads available to you in a given moment. |
