ImprovBoston Standup Program
Many of ImprovBoston’s performers are more than just talented improvisors, they are experienced stand-up comics performing in clubs across Boston. They share their skills with you in our series of stand-up classes. 18+.

Classes run for eight-week sessions, starting at the beginning of each quarter: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Please make sure you have fulfilled the prerequisites for the class you wish to take.

How to Register for ImprovBoston Classes

Standup Schedule: Spring, 2008
Registration for our Spring 2008 session is closed. Look for Summer 2008 registration in May.

Level I –
Use to learn your own experiences and own self-perceptions to develop your first stand-up routine. $195 per person. Maximum of 10 participants per class.

No previous experience necessary.

Sundays, 4:00-6:00pm, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 5/25
At ImprovBoston (Cabaret), 40 Prospect St., Central Square, $195



Level II –
Do you want to take your stand up comedy to the next level? In our level two class, you'll learn to develop your persona and personal stand up style and apply it to the material that you've written. Then you'll put it to the test in class through trial and error, workshopping and higher level feedback. This class will help prepare you to take your comedy to the clubs.

Pre-requisite: Level I or permission from the Director of Education.
