Start your summer with comedy and creativity with these classes, based of our successful adult improv program, and tailored to middleschool students.

July 7-11
Improv Level I
This class introduces students to the concepts of improvisation, develop their confidence as they learn to recognize what is needed to begin a scene, how to recognize possibilities, and also how to play some of the short-form game structures we use in some of our shows.

July 14-18
Advanced Improv
This class explores at a deeper level the dynamics of building a scene with two or more players. It focuses on identifying and developing themes, patterns, games, story, and playfulness. It will particularly hone the ability of players to agree to be successful and play at a much more satisfying level with each other. This depth of understanding will contribute a great deal to the student’s ability to play long-form structures. Registration Closed

Students will learn some basics of comedic acting, playwrighting, improvising, dance, directing, set design, performance and more! Performances will happen each Friday at 3PM. Students will have a lunch at 12PM each day.
