Ramy Abdelghani

Ramy Abdelghani is a co-producer of ImprovBoston’s monthly late-night experimental variety show, LaughterRisk*, as well as its twice-weekly comedy incubator, Comedy Lab. He was interested in improv for a long time, but dipped his toes in the water after after applying improvisational concepts to scavenger hunts and live-action “choose your own adventure” games that he coordinated with local event planning groups Banditos Misteriosos and BostonSOS. Ramy is also an actor, writer, storyteller, and - when the moon is right - standup comic. He writes for Boston Sketch Company (FB @BostonSketchCo), writes and acts for Mister Bismuth (FB/IG/Twitter @misterbismuth; short films at https://vimeo.com/jrgcase), and runs a one-man show called Margaritas and Pizza (it's a Farscape reference). He also plays the time-traveling Officer Nassif in the Solutions to Problems podcast and is active in the Boston poetry scene, periodically lending his bad hearing to a long-running translation of The Odyssey via a game of Telephone (a.k.a. The Telephodyssey) at http://www.bbtp.net/telephodyssey.htm.
